Applications of lactic acid series products in beverage
Lactic acid series products are widely used in beverage industry, which can be used to adjust acidity, improve flavor and enhance nutrition of beverage products.
Adjustment of acidity: lactic acid is a natural weak organic acid with a soft and lasting sour taste. It can be used to adjust pH value. In beverages, lactic acid and buffer lactic acid have been widely used to adjust acidity.
Improvement of flavor: lactic acid can significantly improve the flavor of drinks.
Nutrition enhancement: calcium lactate has a high calcium content, soluble in water and high bioabsorption efficiency. As a nutritional fortifier, calcium lactate is widely used in various beverages (such as fortified health drinks, natural fruit juices, sports drinks, water, tea drinks).
